Customer Comment:

I've been on tour for 12 years with The Beach Boys and tried Velcro and Dual-Lock...but Stompsters seems to be the only thing that keeps my pedals secure!

Keep your pedals from falling off your pedalboard, and focus on making great music.

  • Stompsters gives you everything you need to securely screw 5 pedals to your pedalboard.

Each package of Stompsters gives you 20 metal brackets (Stompsters). When you attach one of these brackets to each of the four screws on the bottom of your pedal, you can flip your pedal over, and screw it down to the board.

What kind of screws will you use? Don't worry, we've got you covered. In each package, we provide 20 all purpose screws to screw your pedals down. You can screw these into a wood pedalboard by hand, or drill a small pilot hole in your metal pedalboard and then screw them down.

You won't have to rip the rubber bottom, or rubber feet off of your pedals to install Stompsters. Each package comes with 12 "Spacers" (enough for 3 pedals) that allow you to install Stompsters without damaging the pedal or the Stompster.

Have a pedal that uses bottom screws that aren't long enough? No worries. We've also included 12 extra long bottom screws (enough for 3 pedals) for your pedals that need 'em. These work perfectly on MXR pedals, and similar pedals.

  • Turn your pedalboard into an "effects rack" that will weather the abuse of touring and keep your patch cables from wearing out.

When you screw your pedals down with Stompsters, your pedals will not, can not, simply fall off of your pedalboard. Velcro and other fasteners will wear out over time, and when your pedalboard gets jostled around under the bus, in the back of the van, or in the trailer, pedals willfall off your board. Your 1/4" connections get loosened and patch cables wear out.

Pedalboard technicians have been using metal brackets for many years because they know that it will keep their clients from having to re-build a pedalboard, moments before a gig. When you open up your board after a long road trip, all of your pedals will be right where you left them, ready to go. All you'll have to do is plug in, turn it on and play. Every Time!

  • Focus your energy on being the best musician you can possibly be.

Ever feel like you're spending more time messing around with your equipment than becoming a great player? The secret is to learn how to make your gear do what you need it to do, and forget the rest. With your pedalboard, decide on a pedal layout, screw your pedals down, and get to work making music. With Stompsters, you won't have to worry about fussing around with your pedals or connections all the time because things got jostled around. In this way, your pedalboard becomes one big effects processor, a tool you will use to make great music.

Here are some examples of recent questions and their answers:

Q:
"I'm not sure if my marshall pedals will work with stompsters, they have a lot of rubber padding underneath that I don't want to take out. Will they work?"
A:
As long as you can see the screws on each corner, you can install stompsters. If the pedal is sitting up a bit higher because of the foam on the bottom, use a spacer under the stompsters to bridge the gap (see this instruction video).

Q:
How would you install on a Fultone pedal? Could you use the thumb screws on the side and bend the stonpster 90 degrees and then put a spacer under that?
A:
Exactly. Bend the Stompsters at a 90 degree angle, attach them to the side screws and screw them down. Try this method, and if it doesn't work for you, you can return the package of Stompsters for a full refund!

Q:
"How can I effectively use these Stompsters on a pedal that DOESN'T have screws on the bottom? I have a Guyatone BR-2 and instead of screws, the bottom plate is attached to the pedal with a piece of rubber."
A:
"Unfortunately, Stompsters do not work with all pedals, if there aren't any screws on the bottom, you won't be able to use Stompsters. Besides going with Velcro (sometimes it's the only way), you could use a couple of eye hooks on each side of the pedal, and then zip tie the pedal down.

Q:
Hello, I noticed that 2 of my pedals ( Akai Headrush and Fulltone OCD) don't have screws on the bottom. I was wondering what you would recommend.
A:
From the pictures I can see online, the Headrush should have screws on the bottom that you can use (they are near the rubber feet). For the Fulltone, if you bend the Stompsters at a 90 degree angle, you should be able to attach them to the screws on the side of the pedal. Send me some pictures of the bottom of your pedals, and I can further advise.

Don't just take our word for it, see what these players are saying about Stompsters Pedalboard Fasteners, THE Pedalboard Velcro Alternative:

This product will be loved by all those who hate the hassle and unreliability of Velcro.
- Don N.
The installation was really easy, just unscrew the backing plate on my pedal, install the link, and screw it into my board. The supplied spacers helped to secure it.
- Paul T.
Finally a way to keep my pedals in place without damage. I like the small profile and they work perfectly with boss style pedals.
- Shyam T.
I hate velcro. I hate the sticky residue it leaves behind after removal and I hate it when I’m on the road and a pedal falls off the board! I don’t see how you could go wrong with screws and metal brackets!
- Carlos G.
I received the package yesterday, and I couldn't be more pleased; the product is perfect for my setup, and the service was (and is) outstanding.
- Ed C.
I would recommend Stompsters to anyone who is building a pedal board whether DIY or purchase from a store.
- Chad C.
